A little help for the journey.

Getting to Indore

Fly into Indore (IDR). Our airport is Devi Ahilyabai Holkar International Airport. From abroad, look for an international flight into Delhi (DEL) or Mumbai (BOM), followed by a domestic connection to Indore.

Allow plenty of time between flights for immigration, baggage collection and any terminal changes. Check connection times and baggage arrangements with your airline.

Arriving & settling in. We suggest arriving by 23 December to rest before the celebrations. Arrange an airport taxi or ask your hotel about a transfer. We’ll be celebrating at Raas by Vrindavan on Kanadia Road, Indore.

Please check passport and visa requirements for your nationality before travelling.

December in Indore

For our 24–25 December celebrations, here’s a little help with packing: Indore’s average December daytime high is around 28°C (82°F), with overnight lows around 11°C (52°F). December is usually dry, with very little rain.

Our December celebration comes with a little winter chill, especially in the mornings and evenings. Pack a shawl, cardigan or light jacket to layer over your festive outfits and stay cosy as we celebrate together.

What to wear

Indian festive wear and dressy outfits are both welcome. Come comfortable and ready to celebrate.

Haldi · 24 December morning
Light, comfortable clothes with a touch of yellow. Our turmeric celebration can get a little colourful, so choose something you don’t mind staining.
Sangeet · 24 December evening
Festive colours and shoes you can dance in for our evening of music and celebration.
Wedding · 25 December, around noon
A sari, lehenga or kurta, or a dress or suit. Comfortable shoes are always a good idea.
Reception · 25 December evening
Bring your favourite festive or formal outfit, and a shawl or jacket for the evening chill.

If you need a hand with travel, what to wear, or anything at all, please let us know. Feel free to reach out to either of us. We’re happy to help and want you to feel at home.
